Sofie "Ingrid" Artrip, born January 20, 1924 in Munich, Germany died on Thursday, October 17, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter, Ingrid Maria Morefield and her grandson, Drew Morefield both of Fairfax; and her brother, Professor Karl Heinz Schmelzer of Obersdorf, Germany.
Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
