Direct cremation means “without ceremony” and that our funeral home will not be involved in any memorial services for your loved one. It does include receiving your loved one from their place of death, necessary documentation and authorizations (including required Medical Examiner's permit, and cost of crematory).
All of our services include obtaining death certificates (State of Virginia charges $12 each), submitting obituaries, coordinating with churches and cemeteries, and arranging military honors.
