Due to the change in funeral traditions there is a surplus of privately owned cemetery spaces available. Those spaces are often available at a lower cost than families would pay directly to the corporate cemeteries.

Those transactions must be handled directly with buyer and seller and deed of transfer with cemetery.

Due to the change in funeral traditions there is a surplus of privately owned cemetery spaces available. Those spaces are often available at a lower cost than families would pay directly to the corporate cemeteries. In purchasing from private individuals, families can often save themselves a considerable amount of money while also helping other families sell spaces they no longer need. Most corporate cemeteries have a transfer fee to change the name on the deed; please make sure that if you purchase spaces from an individual, you make an appointment with the cemetery and ensure all required paperwork is properly completed. Do this prior to making a payment to the individual so that all details are properly taken care of (protecting both buyer and seller).  We do not charge a fee or accept any reimbursement for listing available cemetery spaces or assisting families with finding spaces. If you list a space with us, we will record specific information related to spaces available and then make that information available to families searching for spaces; doing so only after contacting the seller ourselves and asking permission to share contacts. This allows us to confirm your spaces are still for sale and alert you to the call of the potential buyer.
