Zenaida Dryden, 81, died August 25, 2016. A native of Isabela, Puerto Rico, she had been a longtime resident of Hampton. Zenaida was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.  Her heart and home were open to everyone.

Zenaida was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Dryden, Sr. Survivors include her children, James R. Dryden, Jr. (Cheryl), Shirlyn K. Jung (Ki), Harold A. Dryden (Sunny), Myra A. Moore, Kenneth W. Dryden (Holly), Michael L. Dryden (Darlene), and Kevin W. Dryden (Jennifer); brothers, Marcial Soto Moya and Monserrate Soto Moya; twenty six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  Special thanks to William S. Orthman.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 6-7PM with a rosary prayer service following at 7PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at 2PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
