Zane P. Burns, 84, passed peacefully on January 10, 2019. A native of Hot Springs, VA he was born March 27, 1934 to Charles and Pearl Burns. Zane grew up in Hot Springs before moving to Hampton with his wife Patsy where they raised their three children. He served 20 years in the United State Air Force at Langley Airforce Base, retiring as a Staff Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Nancy. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Patsy K. Burns, children, Zane A. Burns, Daniel P. Burns, and Anne Marie Burns as well as his sisters, Charlotte and Wanda.

A funeral service will be conducted at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11AM with full military honors.
