RW "Woozy" Rogers, Jr., 74, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, December 9, 2017. A lifelong Peninsula resident, he worked in construction for many years retiring from Patterson Construction Company in 2012. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR, but his greatest joy was his family, especially spending time with his grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

Preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Rymer Rogers, his brother, Jimmy and his sister, Tara; survivors include his wife, Fay S. Rogers; his daughters, Julie Colton (Ed) and Alie Barba (Paul);

His grandchildren, Justin Colton (Jen), Ryan Gravely (Diana), Meagan King (Matt) and Alicia Barba; his great-grandchildren, Brylan, Parker, Sloan, Cali, Eli, and a baby girl on the way; and his sisters, Donna Reid, Beverly Stanworth and Melaney Jenkins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 PM Friday, December 15, 2017 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel.
