William Hilton Trevathan ("Papa") age 83, of Newport News, Virginia entered Heaven's gate on May 13, 2016.  Papa was born in Farmville, North Carolia, and later moved to Newport News, Virginia, and met the love of his life, Martha E. Trevathan.  Papa and Mema married on September 27, 1958.  Papa was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne SCH, with the United States Army from 1950 to 1953, stationed at the Fort Bragg, North Carolina, military base.  Papa retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding in 1995 after he dedicated 28 years of service.  He was an avid bowler, enjoyed fellowship, and always kept God in his heart.  Papa would always say, "God loves you and so do I".
