William C. Tice, Jr., known by his friends and family as Bill, passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Bill was born in Hampton, Virginia to his father William C. Tice, Sr. and his mother Mary Ward Tice. He was a proud member of Hampton High School's class of 1962, where he met many of the friends that he kept for his entire life. Bill spent his career as an aircraft mechanic for NADEP in Norfolk, building and repairing the military's fleet of planes.

After retiring in 1993, Bill spent much of his time pursuing his passion for the great outdoors, whether hunting throughout the state or flounder fishing with friends on the Chesapeake Bay. Bill never met a stranger and will forever be remembered for his ability to make others smile and find the silver lining in every situation.

Bill was preceded by his son Christopher S. Tice, and his wife, June. He is survived by his three grandchildren, Danielle, Ryan, and Blake, as well as his first wife, Brenda. Information about funeral services will be announced at a later date.
