William (Bill/Billy) R. Plummer HMCM(SW), CMDCM, USN (Ret) of Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023 at the age of 65. Bill was born in Beverly, Massachusetts and raised in Beverly/Wenham, Massachusetts. After graduating from Hamilton-Wenham High School, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served for 25 years, retiring as Command Master Chief at the Naval Health Clinic in Quantico, Virginia. Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science, as well as an additional Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. After his time in military service, he worked for the United States Government as a Contract Specialist.
Bill was survived by his devoted wife, Peggy Plummer, of 36 years, his adoring daughters, Tresha Bouldin and Stacey Plummer-Payne, his grandchildren, Emalie Sharp, Tony Bouldin, Erykah Payne-Plattner, Marcus Bouldin, and Danica Payne, his loving parents, Ann and Russell Plummer, and his brothers David and Joseph Plummer.
Bill enjoyed many hobbies, including watching baseball, football, and hockey, attending racing events, especially NASCAR, racing his Trans Am, playing poker, and doting on his menagerie of cats and dogs.
