William F. Pfeifer, Jr., 84, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2018. Bill was born on April 19, 1933 in Williamsburg, VA. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irene; a daughter, Trina Page and husband Bob; son, Billy and wife Diane; son, Bobby and wife Karen; seven grandchildren, Michael, Meagan(Chris), Chris(Jess), Brandon (Amber), Justin, Kyle(Tara), Luke and great grandchildren, Colby and Mason. He is also survived by a beloved sister, Shirley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Stephen, and his brother-in-law, Howard.

Bill grew up in Buckroe Beach and graduated from Hampton High School where he played football and sang in the choir. He loved singing and was a tenor in the Virginia Choral Society for a number of years. He was a member of Wallace Memorial United Methodist Church and previously served as Treasurer.

Bill had a diverse business career that included accounting, banking, construction, part ownership of the Peninsula Sports Arena and owner of Car City Ltd. He ended his business career with his favorite venture, a bookkeeping and tax service known as Bil-J Enterprises Inc.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Wallace Memorial United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at church from 1-2 pm. Interment will follow in Clark Cemetery.
