William "Bill" Hollingsworth III, 48, passed away peacefully at his home September 26, 2017. He was born in Newport News Va, but lived a majority of his life in Hampton.

Bill had a zest for life and never met a stranger. He had a passion for animals, Nascar, and loved cooking a feast for a crowd.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Lana Hoover Holland, grandfathers, Lt. Col (ret) Robert J Hoover and William H Hollingsworth Sr. and Grandmother June R Hollingsworth. He is survived by his two daughters Alex and Abby Hollingsworth; sister, Mindy (Chris); father, William H Hollingsworth Jr (Suzanne); grandmother, Mabel L Hoover; nieces, Zoe and Lana; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 6PM.
