William K. Hall, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 23, 2018. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he served in the US Air Force, retiring in 1974 after 22 years of service. Upon retiring, he worked as a manager at 7-11 for 14 years. He enjoyed pigeon racing and was a member of the James River Racing Club and the Tidewater Racing Club.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Marian M. Hall; six children, William K. Hall, Jr., Louis M. Hall, Colleen M. Wedding, James E. Hall, Rebecca H. Kuzma, and David Hall; a sister, Lillian Sypniewski; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with full Air Force honors will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2018 at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veterans' Cemetery in Suffolk. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 Wednesday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
