William Frank Gust, was born on July 20, 1927 in New York and moved to Hampton in 1959. He was the owner and operator of a chain of motels, night clubs and restaurants in several states. Survivors include, his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Winston Greenwell of Hampton; son, Jack Gust of Hampton, grandchildren, William S. Greenwell, PhD, Misty Gust and her husband Chris, and Kristy Smith and her husband Job; two great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Hailey; sister, Anna Fischer and many close friends, especially Kim and Sheila. The family wishes to thank Dr. Leo Bowers, the caring staff at Sentara Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and his many dear friends there.
