William S. Griffith, 69, died Friday, January 19, 2018. A lifelong Peninsula resident, he retired from Civil Service with the Department of Defense, DCMA.

Billy was a family man, always glad to have his daughters and granddaughter around. He also loved his dogs.

Preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Anzio Griffith and his father, William Leroy Griffith; survivors include his daughters, Mallory Teal Griffith and Sherry A. Griffith (Gary); his mother, Freda K. Griffith; his sisters, Linda K. King and Carol A. Moody (Bruce); his granddaughter, Lucinda Custis; and three grandpuppies.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 5 PM Monday, January 22, 2018 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with a memorial service to be conducted at 5:00 PM by Pastor Tom Andrews.
