Obituary

William "Bill" Clark of Hampton, Virginia, passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 83. He was a U.S. Navy Machinist Mate Chief (retired). Bill was a proud member of the VFW Post 3219 in Phoebus, Virginia since 1979. Bill also served as past Commander of the American Legion Post No. 25 on Marshall Avenue in Newport News. Bill loved his country and was proud of his Navy career. He enjoyed spending his days trading views on life with his friends at the Post.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Clark and his beloved pet "Charlie". He is survived by his stepdaughter, Pamela Keefe; his daughters, Theresa Moore-Hughes and Pamela Taber; his sons, William Goings, Jerry Goings, and Shawn Clark; and his nine grandchildren, Jefferey Moore, Jessica Fletcher, Samantha Price, Adam Goings, Sydney Goings, Kelsey Goings, Nathan Clark, Timmy Clark, and Ryan Clark.
William will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery on December 15, 2021, at 11 AM. In remembrance, please make donations to The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. or the VFW's Disaster Relief fund.
