William Andrew Dee, 63, passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2017.  He was born in Archibald, PA, and graduated from Valley View High School. He was an offensive lineman at Mansfield State College.

Fondly known as Coach Dee, he was a staple in local football with jobs at Phoebus High School, Christopher Newport, Old Dominion and Oscar Smith. He also led Phoebus High to multiple state football championships during his tenure there.

Dee is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, William; and daughter, Katie.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at First Presbyterian Church, 514 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA.
