William Charles "Chuck" Moody, 59, died Sunday, August 14, 2022. A lifelong resident of Hampton, Chuck was a 1981 graduate of Hampton High School and had worked the past 40 years in the Newport News Shipyard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Samantha Moody; son, Taylor Moody (Courtney); daughter, Kristen Moody; sisters, Ginger Ramsburg and Kim Moody; brother, David Moody; and was proud to be known as PopPop to his three grandchildren who he held both in his heart and his hands; and his nephews who he loved and adored.

A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at a later date.
