William Lancer Brown, 74, died September 17, 2019. A native of Hampton, he served his country for over 40 years both in the Army and as an engineer at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a loving father to his son William L. Brown II and a friend to all he met. William is survived by his son and brother James Brown and their families.

A memorial service will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 3PM.
