Wesley E. Seymour, 68, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Born in Hampton, he had lived in the area for 50 years where he retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 35 years of civil service. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam and enjoyed country music.

Survivors include his children, Matthew Seymour and his wife, Julia and Jennifer Seymour; and his brothers and sister, Stanley Seymour, III, Emily Pack, and Conrad Seymour.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 19, 2017 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23669.
