Wayne Brooks, 63, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.  Born to Isaac and Etha Coachman Brooks, he was a loved husband, father and friend who served our country in the United States Air Force.  Wayne loved all things science fiction, particularly Star Wars, Star Trek, and Twilight Zone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Benita Brooks.  Wayne is survived by his children, Sabrina, Deanna, and Jason; sisters, Gloria and Brenda; brother, Ricky; and five nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 12, 2023, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA.
