IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wanda Mays
Blelloch
April 23, 1947 – July 3, 2018
Wanda Mays Blelloch, 71, a mother, wife and dedicated teacher passed away this past Tuesday, July 3rd 2018. She grew up in Lynchburg, VA before attending James Madison University where she would eventually meet her husband, John. They would have been married 49 years this coming November. They have been residents of Hampton VA for 45 years.
Wanda's greatest joys in life were being a wife, mother and teacher. She taught 11thgrade US History at Kecoughtan High School for 29 years and over that time taught & touched the lives of hundreds of students. She retired in 1999 and soon thereafter began what had been her second career all the way till present, being a grandmother. She cared very deeply about family and would go out of her way to help anyone and everyone. When she wasn't spoiling her grandchildren, you would find her volunteering at the Sentara Hospital reception desk here in Hampton.
Wanda is survived by her husband John Blelloch, mother Sallie Mays, brother Dwight Mays, son Chris Blelloch and his wife Heather and their two children, Nolan and Morgan.
Friends and family will be received at First United Methodist Church Fox Hill on Monday, July 9th from 10-11AM. A funeral service will be held at the church at 11AM with burial immediately following at Parklawn Memorial Park.
