Vivian Avenell Joyner, 92, died Friday, August 19, 2016. Born in Kentucky, she was a longtime Hampton resident where she was a member of Westhampton Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Joyner and his wife, Bridget; and her brother Bill Looney.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Parklawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Commonwealth Assisted Living and Interim Hospice Care for the loving care given to Avenell during her illness, and Susan I. Jean, her attorney, for the advice and support she gave.
