Virginia Sue Pena, 85, died Monday, May 31, 2021. Born in Columbia, TN, she had been a Hampton resident since 1968. She retired from Civil Service at Fort Eustis, was an avid reader, enjoyed ceramics and adored her dog, Pele.

Preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Pena; a sister, Betty Ann Howell, and a brother, Willie C. Howell, Jr.; survivors include her children, Christina Pena Jones, Anthony Pena (Cheryl), and Alisa DiMora (Shane); two sisters, Rosemary Cross (Wade) and Paula Goodman both of Columbia, TN; a brother, Joe Wayne Howell of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Bryan Jones (Yascara), Stacey O'Dorisio (Joseph), Tonya and Tiffany Pena, and Samantha and Shane DiMora; and five great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Colton, Bennett and Emerson O'Dorisio and Skylar Jones.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
