IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy Ryan
Hall
June 15, 1980 – February 12, 2025
Timothy Ryan Hall, 44, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Born on June 15, 1980, in Portsmouth, Virginia, he lived most of his life in Hampton Roads except while serving in the United States Army. Timothy dedicated his life to service- both to his country and to the causes he held dear. He proudly served in the United States Army for 19 years from 1999 until his retirement as a Staff Sargeant in 2018. His commitment to his fellow soldiers and his nation was unwavering, reflecting his deep love for his country.
Beyond his military career, Timothy was passionate about making a difference in lives of others. He was a strong advocate for mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and autism awareness. His generosity extended to charitable efforts such as Toys for Tots, where he found joy in helping children experience the magic of the holiday season.
Timothy also found happiness in simple pleasures. He loved fishing, throwing darts, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Whether casting a line or aiming for the bullseye, he embraced these moments with enthusiasm and camaraderie.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Hall; his children, Caleb, Cameron, and Autumn; step children, Paige, Jasmine, and Allison; his mother, Renee Hall Norman and her husband, Chris; his sisters, Alexis Norman and Amanda Hall; his brother, Vincent McManus; his nieces, Samiya and Morgan; and his aunt, Karen James. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. McManus; grandmother, BJ Rountree and grandfather, Terry M. Rountree.
Timothy's legacy is one of dedication to family, to friends, to service, and to causes that uplift others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
