Timothy Joseph Bolt, 63, died Thursday, July 15, 2021.

Tim was a marine, in the home improvement world, the owner of Fire It Up! fireplace services, and for the past 12 years, a Newport News Shipbuilder.

If you had a home repair need, Tim never turned down the opportunity to help someone. He knew how to fix everything. We have tried, but never found a person who did not like him.

Tim was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church and his smiling face could be found greeting people on Sundays.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Cash-Bolt; sons, Timothy (Mary) and Alan (Askeyt); daughter, Elizabeth; step-son, Brian Gibbons; siblings, Jackie, Johnny, Bobby, Michael, David and Tommy; grandchildren, Maggie, Mason, and Mariana; and a very large extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Liberty Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday at the church prior to the service from 5-6 pm.

St. Judes Childrens' Hospital had Tim's heart, so in lieu of flowers, please help the children.
