Thomas Wayne Schott passed away at home on July 27, 2017 at the age of 64.

Tom was born on November 1, 1952. He graduated from Poquoson High School in 1970. Tom worked as a carpenter until he had an accident in February 1979 that disabled him and kept him from working. He was well known for his love of vintage cars, fossil hunting, and endless amounts of trivia, as well as his incomparable generosity to those he held dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, August Nielsen Schott and Patricia Randolph Stowitts of Poquoson. Tom is survived by his daughter, Lauren Nicole Schott of Leesburg, VA, his brother Steve Schott of Poquoson, and his brother Tim Schott of York County.
