Thomas J. Meeks passed away quietly on April 24th. He was the son of the late Kenneth A. Meeks and Donna (Jeannie) Weiss. He leaves behind his wife Sally and two step-children, Kim Buoni and David Abbott (Kerry) as well as his beloved five grand kids. He was a native of Norfolk, Va and lived on Chicks Beach until Sally lured him to Hampton twenty years ago.

Tommy proudly served in the United States Army and was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war. In his later years, he chose to live a life of passion. His foremost passions were scuba diving and spending time with his friends and family. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 2:00 to 4:30 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. It will be a casual celebration of a life well lived. In lieu of flowers please make donation to the charity of your choice.
