Thomas Joseph Harmon III, 51, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020.  A lifelong resident of Hampton, he served in the US Navy during Operation Desert Storm; after which he began work with Tecnico Company where he was a Supervisor working at Newport News Shipbuilding,

Tom is survived by his son, Thomas J. Harmon IV and his wife Victoria; parents, Wendy and Thomas J. Harmon, Jr.; sister, Susan Harmon Young and husband Chris; and granddaughter, Ivy Louise Harmon.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Thursday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Hampton.  Tom's life will be remembered and celebrated, 10 am Friday, June 12, 2020 in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be private at Albert G. Horton Jr Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
