Thomas Kyle Fetters, 53, died Monday, May 22, 2017. Born at Fort Monroe and a lifelong resident of Hampton, Tom was a member of Fox Hill Road Baptist Church. He had worked at Superfresh in Willow Oaks and then Food Lion.

Tom is survived by his mother, Betty Butler; sister, Bernice Elizabeth "Beth" Harris; brother, Norman Butler; two nephews, three nieces, six great-nephews and one great niece.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Lake Taylor Transitional Hospital for their care during Kyle's illness.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 pm, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Parklawn Memorial Park by Rev. Nathan Cecil. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 pm at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton.
