Thomas "TJ" S. Edge, IV, 31, went home to be with his mother, Julie and his grandfather, Howard in Heaven on Saturday, May 31, 2014. A native and lifelong resident of Hampton, TJ worked for Mid-Atlantic Coatings and loved sports, especially basketball. TJ is survived by his daughter, Bryleigh Edge; sister and brother-in-law who helped raise him, Elizabeth and Charles Burke; sister Lori Pulley; brothers, Troy and Devon Edge; father, Thomas Edge III; grandmother, Lois Hughes; great-grandmother, Lois Roberts; as well as his beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, and many cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 7-8:30 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
