Thomas Harvey Cook, 87, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired accountant from Newport News Shipbuilding.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Beverly Cook, son Thomas Alan Cook and wife, Billie; grandson, Tucker Alan Cook; sister Juanita Deskins; brother David Cook and wife Elsa; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
