Terry Alan Goodenough Sr., 69, of Hampton, died June 29, 2016. A native of Lima, Ohio, he was a graduate of Shawnee High School.

Terry served in the Army during the Vietnam era, following his service he went on to work for the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, where he retired as a Crane Operator.

Terry enjoyed his Harley Davidsons and most of all his 1955 Chevy 2 Dr. Coupe, and spending time with his family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Martha; three daughters, Mary Hunter of Florida, Barbara Amick of Surry, VA, and Brenda Brewer of Hampton, VA, one son, Terry Goodenough Jr. of Hampton, VA, one sister, Peggy Plaugher, 11 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 6-7:30PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11AM. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
