Terry G. Boyer, 71, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013. A native of New Salem, OH, he had been a Peninsula resident since 1983. He retired from the US Air Force in 1986 after 26 years of service and then went to work for ET Lawson and Son as Ice Plant Manager.

He attended the Langley Air Force Base chapel and enjoyed watching sports. A very generous man, he was very involved in the lives of his children and especially his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Boyer and his son, Robert Boyer; survivors include his son, Michael A. Boyer and his wife, Saundra; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Victoria, Alec, and Luke; and his brother, Tim Boyer and is wife, Susan of Ohio.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 25, 2013 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel by Pastor Joe Hunt. Interment with full Air Force honors will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
