Terry Allen "Joe" Dow, 54, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 33 years, Susan Marie Dow, children, Brittany Eileen Dow (Casey), Kelley Marie Dow (Bob), Tony Burchfield (Kellie), Tracey Eileen Wright and the late Robert Christopher Burchfield; Five siblings, Bob Dow (Kelley), Sherry Lea Gold (Gary), Jerry Dean Dow (Dia), Susan Doris Lopez (Roy), Gina Rae Jafari (Jody) as well as his loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Regina Green, and grandparents William Roland Brady and Ruth Virginia Brady of Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Joe worked as a pipe fitter at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company for 33 years and loved his job. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, the Redskins and most of all his family.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 151 Wythe Parkway, Hampton, Virginia 23661. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to St. Jude Research Hospital. Interment will be private.
