Teresa "Betty" Green, 88, of Hampton, went to be with our Lord, on February 12. She was born to the late William and Mary Bowes in Ireland. Betty was a homemaker and helped raise and care for several neighborhood children over the years who grew to love her as one of their own. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Green; her daughter, Ruby; her sisters, Patricia, Mary, Peggy; and her brothers, Francis, Benny, and Bill.

She will be missed dearly, by her sons, Mark Green(Lorraine) of Ladson, SC and Bernard Green (Darlene) of Ormond Beach, Fl; her daughter, Mary Harris, Chiswick, England; grandchildren, Brandy Lewis, Teresa St.Clair, William "Billy" St.Clair, of Huntington, WV, Matthew Green, Nicholas Green, Sarah Koon of Ormond Beach, Fl; twelve great grandchildren; special niece, Maureen Stone of Stanwell, England; and special friend, Joanne Kizer of Gloucester, Va.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 6 at 11am at St. Rose of Lima and the Korean Martyrs Catholic Parrish, where she was a member for 40+ years.
