Tammy Janee Spruill, 58, died Thursday, October 8, 2020. Born in Ohio, she had been a Hampton resident for a number of years. She enjoyed boating and being on the water and always enjoyed having a tan.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Spruill; her adopted children, Felicia J. Spruill Nuru Ihaq Ismail Lafia, Fatima Ismail Lafia, and Faisal Ismail Lafia; her sisters, Kathy Harvey, Kelly Mitchell, Melissa Spencer, and Debbie Jaramillo; her brothers, Randy Myers, Terry Myers, Ray Myers, and Larry Spruill; and her God-mother, Barbara Gerow Kindon.
Because of her love for her dogs, the family asks that memorials be made to the Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
