Susann C. Edwards, 58, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015. A native of Newark, NJ, she had been a Hampton resident since 1985 where she was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness. Full of life, she loved to sing and spend time with her family and friends. She was always very outgoing and friendly. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Cook and Mary Thomas, her husband, Larry Edwards, Sr., a sister, Virginia Hatch, and a brother, Michael Thomas. Survivors include her children, Ebony Edwards of Hampton, Mary Edwards Long and her husband, Shawn of Youngstown, OH, and Larry Edwards, Jr. of Hampton; five grandchildren, Jada, Nykah, Nasir, Christion, and Laila; a brother, Paul Thomas and his wife, Gywanna of Newark, NJ; a sister, Ann Davis of Newark, NJ; best friend and sister Reba Jefferson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will be receiving friends at the home.
