Susan Miller Morris, 92, was born in a blizzard on December 21, 1924 and was called home in a blizzard on January 7, 2017. Susan, a lifelong resident of Hampton, worked as a switchboard operator at Dixie Hospital and later as the bookkeeper for R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home and Smith Floragift. Having also worked as organist at the funeral home she conducted recitals on a radio program known as "Sunday At 6." She was a member of Hampton Christian Church where she had served in many capacities over the years.

Susan is survived by her sons, Michael Morris and Tim Morris; and grandchildren, Hannah Morris, Bryce Morris and Hailey Morris.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 20, 2016 at Hampton Christian Church.
