Susan M. Grasso, age 92, died peacefully at home on Monday, January 23, 2023, surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lt. Col. Thomas E Grasso and son, Michael B Grasso. Susan is survived by her children, Debra S. Parker (Tom), Kendal E. Grasso (Jean),  Sharon E. G. Gresham (David); grandchildren, April M. Parker (Clint), Jessica P. Baughman (Grayson), Graham T. Gresham (Rachael), Gabrielle L. Gresham (Chris); and great-granddaughters, Leona and Brady Baughman.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton with interment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 AM – 12 Noon.
