Stephanie Spankowski Hall, died unexpectedly on January 21, 2018, at the age of 49, while visiting friends in Maine. She grew up in Hampton and was a graduate of Phoebus High School.

She was preceded in death by her brother Michael W. Spankowski, grandparents, Irene Zurek, and Leslie and Aleen Gilmore; her stepmother, Barbara Spankowski; and her step-grandparents, Archer Vernon Vann Sr. and Margaret Coats Vann.

Survivors include her daughter, Madeline Hall; her son Alex Vargo; her parents, Stan Spankowski and wife Liz; and Mary Vann and her husband, Vernon; two sisters, Laura Mallory and her husband, James, and Sheri Vann; three brothers, Stas Spankowski, Mike Hayes and his wife, Tracey, and Pat Hayes and his wife, Karrie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
