Staci Patrick Belleville, 31, found peace as she passed away at the VCU Medical Center in Richmond on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Born in Hampton, VA, she was a lifetime resident of Hampton and graduated from Bethel High School. She then went on to earn a degree from Thomas Nelson Community College and worked as an Admin. Function Support Specialist in the design department for Huntington Ingalls Industries.

Staci dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was an extraordinary mother to her son, Trevor, who was the light of her life. She was a passionate Duke Basketball fan and she loved to play softball, as she did in her youth and through her high school years. Her sparkling personality inspired so many people who knew and loved her. She will always be missed and remembered for her exuberance, her kind heart and her genuine smile.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Taylor Patrick and her father Von Ray Patrick. Staci is survived by her beloved son, Trevor Scott Belleville; her brother Jason Ray Patrick and his wife Kara, all of Hampton; her maternal grandparents, Myrlan and James Taylor of Smithfield; her paternal grandmother Louise T. Stewart of Rocklin, CA; her maternal uncle James Taylor Jr. of Ivor and his daughters Hayley Taylor and Shelby Taylor; her paternal Aunt Liz Braswell and her husband Ron and their children Sabrina Wilson and Chase Worthington; and her uncle Michael Patrick and his wife Debbie all of California; and many dear friends.

Her family would like to thank the many dedicated medical professionals, especially those at Obici hospital and VCU Medical Center for their tireless efforts to help Staci with her fight for recovery.

The family will receive friends on Friday August, 19 from 6:30-8:30 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Hampton where a funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel by Pastor Lloyd Donica of Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
