Sinthia Lynn Mitchell, 68, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. Born on February 28, 1957, Sinthia was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose life centered around her family. After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling together, often planning trips around their shared love of baseball. Sinthia served as a civil servant with TRADOC and was an active member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She loved reading, music, playing the piano, and attending baseball games. She took great pride in supporting her children and grandchildren in all they did. Known for her kindness, strong family values, and dry sense of humor, Sinthia was a steady and loving presence to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Mitchell, Sr., and her parents, Marion and Betty Brown. She is survived by her children, Brooke Mitchell-Parr (Charlie), Danny Mitchell, Jr., and Matthew Mitchell; her grandchildren, Madeleine Parr and Nick Parr; and her sister, Julia Graham. A memorial service will be held on December 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Chapel Baptist Church.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
