Shirley A. Williams, 69, died Monday, June 16, 2014. Born in Norfolk, she had been a Hampton resident for 30 years having traveled during her husband's military career. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Darnell Williams and children, Tina Williams and Tonya Williams. She is survived by her children, Vernon L. Mitchell, Jacqueline Brown, Kerry E. Mitchell, Clarence Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell, Tyrone Mitchell, Sharon Coyne, Tanya Williams, Anthony Williams, and Kerry D. Mitchell; one brother, James Reaves; twenty-eight grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton.
