Shirley Elaine Hinkson, 79, died Sunday, November 12, 2017. Born in Barbados, WI, she lived in Panama before moving to New York in 1964 then Hampton in 1984, where she was a very active member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.  Shirley retired from Burlington Coat Factory in 2003.  She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Survivors include her mother, Olga Simmonds; her sister, Monica Mottley (Gilberto); her nephews, Darrell, Ray, Shawn, and Craig Mottley; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 am Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Thursday at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions.
