DUE TO CDC COVID-19 GUIDLINES, THE SERVICE PLACE AND TIME HAVE BEEN CHANGED.

Shirley Strum Burton, 89, widow of Floyd Burton, passed away on March 14, 2020.  Born in Nash County, NC, she has been a Hampton resident since 1955.  She was a founding member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by her children, Chloe B. Wright and Floyd Gene Burton; grandchildren, Jennifer Stevens, Whitney Burton and Michelle Burton; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Stevens, Joetta Stevens, Donald F. Stevens, Carlton Stevens, Lucetta-Anne Stevens, Lydia Stevens, Hailey Burton, Jordan Tomago and Blake Tomago.

Friends are invited for viewing after 1:00 PM Tuesday.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Parklawn Memorial Park.
