Shirlene A. Davis, 62, died October 30, 2013. Born in Portsmouth she was a Hampton resident for the majority of her life. Shirlene worked 10 years for Auto Zone retiring as a merchandiser, enjoyed camping almost every weekend and spending time in her swimming pool with family and friends.

Shirlene is survived by her husband Jesse Davis; daughters, Sherry Harper, and Patricia Juneau and husband Carl; brother, Mark Hale; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 1, 2013 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home by Rev. Buddy Chapman. The family will receive friends on Friday just prior to the service.

The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
