Shawn Valenti, 60, passed away January 11, 2021. Born in California, he had been a longtime resident of Hampton. Shawn was a talented electrician and had a long successful career at Newport News Shipbuilding where he was still working when he became ill.

Shawn was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Valenti. Survivors include his daughter Fallon (Peanut to her Dad) Valenti (Charles) and his granddaughter Michelle, (Diggy, nicknamed by Papap) who was the light of his life, and his brother Todd Valenti.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private memorial service will be held.
