Sharon Wynn Powers, 83, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Born in South Bend, Indiana, she had been a Buckroe resident since 1976. Many people will remember her from her years working at The Tomahawk, CP's, and Surfside Restaurants.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Black, her sons, Eric W. Krob and Vance P. Powers, and her brother, Greg Sherman. Survivors include her sons, Dirk A. Krob and Dean Powers; two grandsons, Dirk A, Krob, Jr. and Shane Michael Krob; a brother, Fred "Scott" Zaches; and a nephew, Sage Sherman.
