Sharon Rae McCabe died December 10, 2025 in Gloucester, VA. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton and a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sharon was born to Raymond E. McCabe and Jo Ann Kelch McCabe on July 7, 1952. She loved her family and will be remembered for her caring spirit. Sharon loved the beach and her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jo Ann and her grandmother Ruth Jackson. She is survived by her children, Jamie Thompson (Renee), Chris Thompson (Victoria), Lenny Garner IV (Karem), and Caron Rae Garner; grandchildren, Brittany Thompson, Reid Thompson, Aiden Thompson, Luciana Betancur, Raymond Garner, Alexis Martinez, Ashley Martinez, Kristen Keatts, Arianna Low, Miranda Garner, Aysha Williams, Ariana Glanville, Marin Rae Glanville, and Scarlett Kandel; great-grandchildren, Rylee, October, and Crew Serrano-Garner; sister, Linda Leibfried; brothers, Ricky McCabe and Michael McCabe; and lifelong friend Dallas Owens.

The family will receive friends at 16 Wallace Rd. Hampton, VA 23664 on Friday December 12, 2025 from 5-7PM.
