Seiko Inoue Miller, 88, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.  Born in Kyoto, Japan to parents Gengi and Ito Inoue, she came to the United States in 1958.  Seiko married Larry Miller in 1989 and together they enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling, especially world cruises.  Seiko was an accomplished seamstress working for JC Penny for many years and also enjoyed crafts.

Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters including her beloved sister, Miyoko Inoue; her son Steven White; and step-son, Ron Miller; she leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 35 years, Larry Gene Miller, Sr.; daughters Tina M. Tray and Chery L. White; step-daughter, Amy M. Overstreet (John); step-sons, Larry G. Miller, Jr. (Wendy) and Tom E. Miller (Jacqui); and grandchildren, Robert J. Chab, Rebecca L. Chab (Andrew Friedman), Jessica Cooke (Peter), Alex Miller, TJ Miller, Chelsea Miller, Stephanie Miller and Ronnie Miller.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 11, 2024 by Chaplain Uwe Scharf. A memorial gathering will be held at The Chesapeake Retirement Community at 955 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA from 4-6 pm on Monday, November 11th.
